Overview: I have always felt the need to create, and visual art is where I found my countenance. I have worked for almost twenty years on most aspects of computer graphics, including 2D/3Dcharacter and environmental conception, storyboarding, modeling, mapping, texturing, rigging, animation, implementation and cinematics. For many years I worked in the gaming industry, where I worked on some of the most popular games, including Ultima Online, Jaws Unleashed, Spongebob Squarepants and dozens of others. Alan Perez animation artist

Most recently I worked as a contract artist for a branding company, where I optimized and created limited polygon models to high-polygon “looking” results, using many tricks such as normals, specular, ambient occlusion and diffuse mapping. I also optimized UV layout for those 512 x 512 texture maps and animated several of those items to high acclaim. The client was Amazon.

Upon my move to Eugene, Oregon in March 2016, I am looking forward to contributing my experience, skills and creativity to a company where I can continue to learn, push the boundaries and create all the magnificent images that are a part ofthe amazing world of computer graphics.

I also accept freelance projects and my art adds dynamic dimensions to advertising, including print ads, posters, album covers, logos and more! Submit a proposal and I'll respond with options and pricing!
